Named after the porn star Madison, the first person to wear this piercing, this type of piercing is placed horizontally, slightly above the center of the collarbone, at the base of the neck (jugular notch).
This type of surface piercing, isn’t really popular among people because of an extremely high rate of migration and rejection… not forgetting the long healing period, if it heals at all.
The jewelry used may be a surface bar, a CBR, or a curved barbell. Jewelry will depend on placement and your aesthetic ideals.
I am not really sure of the pleasure involved but Madison piercings surely risk severe scarring at the very obvious area of your neck. You would left with two holes on your neck which you can only hide by wearing polo necks, even in summers. Or may be tell your folks that you had a snake bite and you miraculously survived.
