Barbells, popularly called so because of their resemblance with the barbells that are used in weightlifting,  are composed of a straight bar with a bead on each end. One bead is fixed and the other can be removed for changing of the beads.

They look great in eyebrows, nipples, tongue and ear piercings. The detachable ball allows the addition of a jeweled balls that adds more appeal to the jewelry and the piercing.

Barbells are available in metals like Blackline, Gold, Steel, Titanium, Ultra Violet, Zircon Gold, PTFE, Amber and Mammoth.
