Getting eyebrows pierced can definitely be fun but having an infected eyebrow piercing is not certainly nice. An infected eyebrow piercing is something that needs to be cared for or else it can get dangerous. You need to know some facts that will help you deal with such a situation.
Treating Infection
If you end up with an infection there are a few things you can do. First, if the infection is mild, just make sure that you clean it constantly and apply antibacterial ointment.
If it is a bit severe keep cleaning it with liquid gold dial and start soaking it 3-4 times a day with sea salt soaks (warm water, SEA salt, mix until it tastes like tears. Then soak a cotton ball or paper towel in it and hold it on the spot for 10-15 minutes). Avoid using Bactine, neosporin, peroxide, alcohol, table salt or Epsom salt.
These products just dry out and irritate you piercing and skin. The infection may look like a pimple, which actually can be an abscess or a scar tissue. In order to prevent it from getting worse do not pick at this pimple. Picking at it will open it and can increase infection or do harm to the piercing and the pimple will just get worse. If you want to remove the piercing get a piercer to do it.
Keep it clean, don’t lay on that side of your head. If the puss turns brighter or more yellow, green or brown, you will have to go to a doctor to get and antibiotic
A lot of people don’t realize it, but letting an infection get out of control can have serious health consequences. If you do see a doctor, you will want to make sure that you follow the instructions for treatment carefully. They may also want to give you some antibiotics

i’ve got one of these, two actually i think, on both upper and lower eyebrow holes. I’ve also currently got a black ring in the pierceing. i’ve had them both for a few days now, the upper bump has deffinitly gotten bigger over the past few days, will these white lump-bump pimple things go away on there own? or will they contnue to get bigger? and what if they are abscess’ or scar tissue? will they still go away or should i even just remove the pierceing all together? thanks

i woke up this morning and my eyebrow was swollen and a little red around the top of the barbell, i’ve had it pierced now for a couple of months and it was fine last night, i was putting peroxide and neosporin on it but it still has a little whiteish, yellow pus coming out of it, what do you recommend?

I got an eyebrow ring about four days ago. i did it my self with all the right tools and everything was clean. I only use antibacterial soap and warm water. I can see a little bit of pus inside the whole when i squeeze it a bit when cleaning it. The pus is white with a green tint. I hit my ring today hard and i saw a brown crusty residue around the ends that was tender. i figure it’s blood but I’m not sure. after i cleaned it it looked fine. It stings often but i figure its from the antibacterial soap. Does this sounds fine? its always still tender and maybe a little swollen and only a little hint of redness around the puncture sites.

You should try using dial antibaterial foaming hand wash after you get the piecing wet prefreably when you get out of the shower that way the piecing is lubricated. Then apply sterile saline solution called wound wash to your piercing and it should heal up nicely

yeah, i had both of my eyebrows done at the same time a few weeks ago.
my eye turned black and blue lol
then it started a large bubble. so i squeezed it for a few days straight, as it had alot of puss.
now i have a large infection under my eyebrow.
if this happens to you, do not use peroxide..
thats dumb.
it dries it out.
every1 has been telling me to.
so i proved that its bad so they would shut up.
its worse now, but they stopped nagging.
i went to the doctors for some anti biotic.
:) if it gets that bad get some anti biotic, or seasalt and water, as said above.
also, move the ring or w/e u got in your eye alot.

omg. a few weeks ago, i accidentally had my eyebrow piericng caught on the thread of my shirt, nd i pulled at it. There was no immeediate damage but the nxt day, the skin around my bottom ball was all red. I think it may be scar tissue.
Now, after a few weeks, its still red, plus theres like a massive hole now since i may have stretched it. any ideas to get rid of the redness?

I have no idea why, but after
changing my barbels to a different one.
i woke up this morning with my eyebrows swollen
it’s like taken up the whole bar. I dnt know if
theres pus in it as i squeeze and nothing comes out
it might just be a mild infection at the early stages
i could probably just clean it with sea salt yeah ?
