History of Prince Albert Piercing: -
This kind of piercing was named after Prince Albert. He was the husband of queen of England, “Queen Victoria.” It was believed that he had got this kind of piercing done before his marriage to the queen somewhere around 1825. At that time the craze for ultra tight trousers for men was in rage that was started by Beau Brummel. Since the pants were extremely tight, the penis had to be held on one side to avoid the hideous protuberance. In order to get these thing done men in those times used to get their penis pierced so as to hold them by a hook in the inner side of the pants. The piercing was also known as “dressing ring”.
