Not just the body even our nails can be pierced. A new art called the nail piercing has caught up with the youth these days. Stylists claim that piercings make the nail look really chic.

The piercing is either stuck to the nail or is pierced into the nail. However, it is important that the nails be strong for this.

What about those who have brittle nails?

In such cases one can get the piercing done on artificial nails and wear them on your real nails.

Another option is strengthening the nails; one can do it by taking in calcium a month before the piercing and applying nail oil on the nail.

Cost and Affordability

This procedure is easy to do, and is very affordable It is also very painless.

Nail art has surpassed the various other forms of body art. Other forms like eyebrow, tongue and ear piercing are passé now.

Check out the various forms of nail art. One question that haunts me however, is would one be able to work a lot with their hands, with these delicate art forms on their nails.

Or is it one excuse to avoid hard work.

    You can do everything you normally do with the piercings on. The jewels and art pieces aren’t that delicate, and certainly stand up to gardening, dish washing, household and typing chores. Just remember to clip the piercing shaft level to the bolt holding it on and you’ll be fine.
