It is really cool to get a piercing done. It shows you are hip, stylish and a part of the “In Crowd”

Many parents refuse their children from getting their body parts pierced. Because they fear that the child’s body may be scarred and infected. Well, their worries are justifiable. Then how is it that one convinces their parents to permit them for a piercing?

Firstly tell them and show them all the possible information you can get your hand on body piercing.

Next assure them that the place you are getting you’re body pierced is a clean and hygienic one. Get your parents talking to the piercing specialist. Once they speak to the specialist they will definitely be relieved.

Also, letting them interact with a person who got their body pierced earlier and suffered no problems. This will relieve their fears greatly.

Last and most importantly follow the after care faithfully. Do explain to your parents that a little swelling and redness is expected and there is nothing to worry about it. If carelessness leads to infection, then your parents will hound you all your life about “ how right they were and how wrong you were”. So leave no stone unturned in following the after care instructions.

Once you have successfully crossed the healing period without any infection, thank your parents profusely for letting you pierce yourself. And don’t be surprised to see your parents with a piercing some day’s letter.
