Self-Piercing May Prove To Be Dangerous

Posted on August 27, 2008 in Latest News

Self-Piercing is a dangerous task for several reasons.

Firstly the place i.e. your home where you get your piercing done will not be very hygienic and this may prove to be a risk and cause of infection.

Secondly, Professionals know where to pierce and where to not. By mistake if you happen to pierce through an important nerve running down your skin, you may cause irreparable damage to yourself.

Thirdly, you may not have the right tools to pierce yourself. Professionals use piercing needles, which are very sharp, clean, cause less bleeding and are quick. Sewing needles on the other hand are more blunter, will cause more pain and lead to more bleeding.

Unfortunately many do not understand the consequences and do it just for the thrill. In order to avoid any kind of pain one should take the help of a professional.
