According to a recent study Home Body Piercing Kits are said to be very dangerous and very soon will be banned from the market. There is a high risk of individuals suffering from blood poisoning and infections.
These kits are available on the Internet for a few pounds and are used to pierce various body parts. It is said to be non-sterilized, and because of its low costs find themselves in the homes of teenagers.
The severity of the condition is stressed upon because hospital admissions caused due to piercing infections, are on the rise due to non- professional usage.
A piercing should never be done in the absence of a professional. There is a high risk of transmission of blood borne diseases when body piercing is done in a non –professional way.
In order to have a safe piercing experience, always take the help of a professional.

Even if they are banned teens will still pierce at home using unsafe methods like sewing needles. I have seen these kits they do at least include aftercare and some form of instruction.
