Dealing With Migration Of Body Piercing

Sometimes our body may not be able to accept a foreign object as a result of which the pierced jewelry may be rejected out of the body. This process is called Migration, wherein the piercing is pushed out of the skin.

It may occur if the body is allergic to the metal that is pierced. The piercing that is most likely to be rejected is surface piercing that is near to the skin. Eyebrow piercing, navel piercing are some examples of piercing that are most likely to be rejected.

There is nothing much that one can do if a piercing gets migrated. Migration creates lot of scar tissue, which later becomes very difficult to concede. In case of such an occurrence one should remove the piercing immediately.

One should act immediately if one experiences migration of piercing.

If you observe the following symptoms take action immediately. Contact a professional body piercing artist and get the piercing removed. Do not try to remove the piercing on your own. You will create further trouble for yourself.
