Ear snug piercing is the one done just above the ear lobe at the tiny curve of the cartilage. Usually tiny jewelry is used to pierce this area.

As it is a very delicate place one needs to take necessary care while piercing.

This piercing takes 8-16 weeks to heal. It is important that one take precautions after getting the piercing done.

It would be best if one avoided talking on the cell phone for long as it would press against the piercing and cause it to bleed.

Also its best to avoid using headphones, and sleeping sideways (towards the side the piercing is done), for the same reason mentioned above till the piercing heals.

Being careful while putting on clothes, and while taking your bath is another requirement.

Washing the hands before touching the piercing, using anti-bacterial creams, taking in vitamins are all other factors, which will contribute to the faster healing of the piercing.

If there is persistent pain and swelling one should contact a doctor immediately and take the required action.

Taking required precaution and regularly following after care instructions will ensure you have a safe piercing experience.
