Oral Piercing Along With Braces

There are many a time when teenagers want to get their tongues pierced when they are getting their braces done at the same time.

In such situations it would be best if one would do one thing at a time, either they could get their braces first and piercing second or piercing first and braces later.

Because when getting any of them done the mouth tends to get very sore, and getting both done together will worsen the pain and lead to an oral infection.

One could get their braces done and after that has healed they can go in for the tongue piercing. Also, they need to find out from the piercing artist and see to it that the piercing does not get stuck in the braces.

If one has been having braces for long then they can go in for a tongue piercing and take the necessary after care.

Sometimes the piercing may get stuck to the braces and can be very annoying. In such cases it would be best that piercing be done after the braces have been removed.
