Convincing Your Parents For A Piercing

Teens find it very difficult when parents disagree with them with regards to a body piercing. “Why can’t my parents understand my needs” is a common complaint given by many teens.

Parental control forces them to act rebellious and they get a piercing done without having much knowledge. This could cause harm to their skin and body.

If you want your parents to agree, you need to convince them first.

• Let them know about the type of piercing you want.
• Tell them about the after-care instructions.
• Let them speak to someone who has not faced any harm after getting the piercing done.
• Take your parents along to a piercing parlor and let them talk to the piercing artist. This way most of their fears about your health will be overcome.

Involve them in your decisions and they will be less worried about you and will be more confident about your choices.
