Nasal septum piercing was something that was very commonly seen amongst the tribal genre in India and in various parts of the world. This style however, has become very famous amongst the young crowd in urban cities and towns.

The septum is the cartilage that separates the nostrils; usually the piercing is done at the tip of the septum. It looks really cool and is a big favorite of many.

Depending on the thickness of the septum, the piercing is done. The piercing style differs from individual-individual.

Septum piercing needs extreme care as mucous, skin oil etc can trap germs and bacteria in the piercing.

One needs to clean off the mucous from the nose and then wipe out and clean the piercing, of any residue.

It’s best if one does not do the piercing if they constantly suffer from cold.
