Body Piercing is very famous amongst the young crowd. Amongst the many types, a form of piercing that is gaining lot of popularity is the Nipple Piercing.
In case of nipple piercing in women, care should be taken to see that the nipple is pierced only when erect.
The piercing should be done at the areola, the darker part of the nipple.
However, one should take extreme care, they should avoid wearing bra’s until the piercing heals.
Also tight t-shirts and blouses are a strict no-no. The nipple is the area that gets the least ventilation and exposure to air, therefore one needs to be very careful.
Make sure that you wash your hands before you touch the piercing, constantly rinse the piercing with an antibacterial solution.
Be careful about the clothes you wear and see to it that the cloth does not getting in the piercing.
If the nipple tends to get infected, the infection spreads across the mammary glands affecting the entire breast, causing the lady to suffer from high fever, painful breasts with burning sensation at the nipple. If left untreated the infection will permanently leave the women with the inability to breastfeed. Therefore it is important that one take proper aftercare.
Keep these points in mind and have a safe piercing experience.
