Surface Webbing is a kind of piercing done between the fingers, on the tissue that joins the five fingers together.

One needs to be very careful with this kind of piercing, as it tends to get stuck in the clothing or tends to get pulled away from the skin.

It is very important that the skin around the piercing be relaxed, as too much of pressure on the tissues will cause the piercing to tear away.

PFTE piercing also known as surface piercing jewelry, is the best type of piercing that should be used for surface piercing. It is specially created in such a way that it hardly puts any stress on the skin.

Surface piercing need to be cleaned regularly, one need to wash their hands before touching and cleaning the piercing or else they face the risk of suffering from an infection.

One also needs to be careful and not fidget or put much pressure on the piercing as the piercing may get infected. Also, one should be careful while putting and removing their clothes as the piercing may tend to get stuck in the clothing and will be torn away.

Regular rinsing with saline solution is a must; therefore one needs to be very careful.
