Once you get your lip pierced it is very important that you take the right precaution. What you eat matters a lot. Post oral piercing, it is important that you avoid taking in solid food as it may tend to cause an infection and hurt your piercing.

When it comes to other type of piercing, it would be best if you eat healthy and nutritious food. This will help strengthen the body’s immune system and help it fight against infections.

Smoking and alcohol are a complete no-no. As it increases the risk for an infection. One therefore has to be very careful.

Eating nutritious food can be a big bore but they are very beneficial for the body. Eating healthy food will also speed up the healing process.

Only if you take care of your body will be able to sport the piercing. So make sure you eat healthy food.

    This was obviously written by someone who has never had a piercing.
    I have spiderbites on my right side. This article says “eat healthy, eat healthy” no duh…that’s what they tell you to do for everything. but realisically, eating regular stuff helps you get used to eating with a piercing. the 1st day or so if you’re hesitant- try ice cream, yogurt, or anything that will slide down your throat without chewing. the back back catch on your tooth which is really annoying.
