Listening to a piercer’s advice is very important.  Sometimes, you may very badly want a piercing to be done at a particular place of your choice. You may have seen someone sporting it and would have liked it very much.

However, the piercing artist on examining your skin, muscle and tissue layer may find it very inappropriate. It could be because your skin structure is not capable of holding the weight of the jewelry or the piercing space required is not sufficient on your skin layout. Some piercing may require big holes and the skin lay out will not be sufficient enough.

In such situations it would be best if you listen to the piercing artist. If you do not agree take a second opinion as it always helps. Even then if the second expert also echoes the same opinion, then you should heed to the advice and do as the expert says.

They surely will have a safe alternative in mind. Keep these points in mind and have a safe piercing experience.
