A nasallang is a 3-in-1 piercing of the both the nostrils and the nasal septum. The jewellery goes through the nostril, enters the septum and then exits at the other side of the nostril. An extra-long barbell is used for this piercing. Healing time for this piercing is around 3 months.

How is Nasallang Done?
During the piercing of nasallang, the holes of the nostrils and the septum have to be of the same level. This will help in proper alignment of the barbell. Now, an extra-long barbell is inserted into the nostril, septum and the nostril.

Although the nasallang involves a single long bar, people can assume it to be two piercings of the nostril. This piercing is rare and complicated. It is reserved for those who are bored with normal piercings, and who would like to try new ones.

Jewelry and After Care:
A long barbell is used for the piercing. Titanium and stainless steel are recommended as they are less likely to cause allergies. Immediately after the piercing, you can expect headache and swelling. After care involves using salt soaks twice a day. The salt soaks can be used to remove the crusts and clean the area.

Healing time for this piercing can be around 3 months. A nasallang is a good way to stand out from the crowd. Make sure, you consult a professional piercer as this is a complicated piercing. Also, ensure that the piercing studio is clean and hygienic.
