So, I just got my left cartilage pierced today at Icing's and the girl that did it there was absolutely nice. They used a tiny gun, and it didn't even hurt. Of course I felt the gun shoot through but it didn't hurt.. and the sound sounded like a stapler. It hasn't hurt all day and I've been cleaning it. I've also had my first hole on my earlobe done since I was a baby, and got my 2nd hole done by my friend last summer (she didn't even numb it or anything, she just poked it through for me with a stud and all there was was a popping sound) and that one didn't even get infected.. although my earlobe holes DO get infected if I wear fake earrings. Sterling Silver is the one that works the most on your earlobes, and I think the cartilage should be safe as long as it's kept in and cleaned everytime it should be cleaned. (the girl told me at least 3 times a day.)
